BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business​

This qualification is aimed at developing specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.

Students will learn and apply cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems. The Advanced Diploma of Management is structured to provide advanced management, workforce, customer service, and leadership skills to meet the challenges of managing in the demanding business sector.

This course is delivered over a period of one (1) year. The course duration is:

• 52 Weeks of Course duration consisting of:
  • 40 Weeks of scheduled study/tuition (4 terms of 10 weeks each)
  • 12 Weeks of scheduled breaks/holidays (3 breaks of 2 weeks and 6 weeks of Christmas break)

Face to Face, classroom-based delivery. All units are delivered and assessed in the instructor-led face to face classroom/lab mode.

• Be at least 18 years of age.​
• Have a minimum IELTS score of at least 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old) 
• Completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent

• Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning) at the time of enrolment or at any time during their enrolment (prior to the commencement of the relevant unit/s of competency).

• For international students, the granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course. The result of an application for credit and any changes to fees or course duration will be advised to students in writing.

On completion of the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business, students may choose to undertake studies at higher education level with higher education providers/institutes or universities. Highgate shall provide students with the required information regarding their pathway options as part of student support.
